Uploading documents

We can upload both variable and static items to uStore.

If a variable document we upload it to our uProduce server first as this will process the job when ordered. We then point uStore to that server document. For static items no processing is neccessary as it is simply a pdf that can be ordered from the store. Remember this is just a representation of on off the shelf-product as we can sell any static item or service. eg. mugs, pens, clothing, software, etc...

In both instances we can upload a thumbnail to the store for a screen representation of the document.

Most of the set up of the document involves what customer options are to be added if applicable and pricing again if applicable. eg. Do we offer options for paper stocks, finishing services such as lamination, etc...

This can be added on a document by document basis or we can create "product profiles".
"Product Profiles" are a global set of values that can be added to multiple documents.

As a scenario if on our store we have many different business cards that are priced the same we can simply create a product profile with pricing and product set up values and assign it to all our business cards. It saves time on having to price up a document individually.

We can also assign "PrePress setup" which can direct an ordered document to an automated workflow if required.
